Event Details

On 29 and 30 June 2024, the Province Media Coordinator, Sr. Samson Gnana Jennifer, organized a meeting cum training for Local Media Coordinators at the Auxilium Convent, Regunathapuram. The event, known as Media Minds Meet, gathered 22 participant Sisters to update their knowledge and skills related to Artificial Intelligence and media.

Sessions and Presentations

The theme of the meeting was “Communicating with the Heart: Artificial Intelligence and the Natural Wisdom.” Sr. Samson Gnana Jennifer and Sr. Sundaram Bernadette Neha led effective animation sessions, providing hands-on training on various AI tools, which were particularly enlightening for the participants.

Special thanks were extended to Sr. Antony Rayappan Jothy for her insightful guidance on the proper filing and maintenance of media documents. Additionally, Sr. Raja Clarencia Mary offered practical tips on becoming tech-savvy within the communities, contributing to the overall enhancement of the participants’ technical abilities.

Purpose and Outcome

The two-day animation empowered the Sisters by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to use AI more efficiently and effectively. This training ensured that the participants are better prepared to leverage modern technology in their media coordination roles, enhancing their communication capabilities within their communities.
