From 13 to 21 May 2026, twenty of our Junior Sisters participated in the Juniors’ Renewal
Programme at Arunodaya, Puliadithammam, Sivagangai, coordinated by Sr. Rodriquez Magdalene
FMA. The programme offered a grace-filled experience of spiritual renewal and vocational
deepening through prayer, vocation animation, family visits, and reflections on the spirituality of
Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello. The programme began on 13 May with visits to nearly fifteen
villages, where the Junior Sisters went in search of vocations among young girls and encouraged
them to discern God’s call with faith and openness. Though the response was modest, the Sisters
returned with hope, trusting God to nurture the seeds sown. From 14 to 16 May, Sr. Violet
Clemencia FSAG led sessions on “Self-Awareness for Personal Mastery in Consecrated Life,” fostering
emotional maturity and inner freedom. On 17 May, the Vice Provincial, Sr. Lazar Bernardine FMA,
reflected on the “Social Teachings of the Church,” deepening the Sisters’ commitment to justice and
compassionate service. From 18 to 19 May, the Animator of Regunathapuram Community, Sr. Soosai
Magnificat FMA, animated sessions that unveil the realities of the modern world and foster a deeper
understanding of the relevance and application of the preventive system today. On 21 May 2026, I
concluded the programme with an input on “Being Good and Being Perfect,” inviting the Sisters to
live holiness with authenticity and joy. The days were further enriched by the Eucharist, prayer,
sharing, and pastoral experiences. A word of heartfelt thanks to all the resource persons and the
Puliadithammam community for their generous support and accompaniment throughout the
programme. May the fruits of this 8 renewal continue to inspire our young Sisters in faithful and
joyful consecrated life and mission.
