Fifty-Four Sisters participated in the Annual Retreat – I, held at
Auxilium Provincial House, Tiruchirappalli from 26 December 2025 to 02 January 2026.
Rev. Fr. Pathiaraj Rayappan SDB, Rector of Becchi Don Bosco, Theologate,
Kavaraipettai – Chennai preached the Retreat, on our heritage of “Preventive System”.
On 02 January 2026, the retreatants had the day of Animation on the Child Safe-guarding
Policy, presented by Sr. Azarias Arockia Mary Selvi, Sr. Irudayam Jancy Ranid and
Sr. Joseph Prettencia. They brought insights from the National Development Forum’s
five-day Safeguarding Workshop held in November 2025 at Asha Nivas, Chennai,
facilitated by Mrs. Sandra from Ireland. The session emphasized the vital importance of
safeguarding and nurturing every child in our care.
