Rev. Sr. Fernando Majella, FMA, was appointed by Mother Chiara Cazzuola as the Second Provincial of the Province of Our Lady of Snow (INT), Tiruchirappalli for the term 2023 – 2029. She was installed on 26 May 2023 by Rev. Sr. Celine Jacob, Visiting Councillor from Rome. With the inspiring motto “To be Blessing,” Sr. Majella began her mandate with deep faith and enthusiasm. Having served the Provinces of INM & INT for over thirty-five years as Teacher, Headmistress, Formator, Animator, Academic Coordinator, and Provincial Councillor, she brings rich experience in Salesian spirituality. Her leadership reflects warmth, wisdom, and missionary zeal, inspiring the Province to live as a community of faith, hope, and compassionate service, where every Sister and institution becomes a true blessing to the young and the poor.

My prayerful greetings to each one of you!
With joy and gratitude to God Almighty and our Blessed Mother Mary, I wish to begin my journey with you all in animating the Province, with the theme that the Lord inspired: “To be a blessing to all”.
The Lord has chosen each of us to be a blessing to the nations. Every time God gives us a special commission, it is a reminder of how blessed we are and how obliged we are to be a blessing to God’s people! (Cf. Gen.12:1-3) We thank God for these blessings and for making us a blessing in and through our call and our mission.
I am aware that God has entrusted me with the precious task of animating the Province of Our Lady of Snow – INT as its second Provincial and I wish to take on this important venture with my deepest desire to focus on, our
Life in Christ – Courageous conviction to follow Christ;
Life in the Community – Joyful communion in the community; and
Life in the Mission – To be a blessing to all whom we encounter wherever we are sent.
It gives me immense joy to meet you all through this first circular. Trusting in God’s ceaseless grace and mercy, I begin this new journey with you all, accompanied by the Lord, our Way, our Truth, and our Light who guides, protects and leads us!
