Day 1: Humility and Communion in Leadership
The Animators’ Meeting, held from 16 to 18 August 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Convent, Broadway, Chennai, commenced with a profound session on “Humility in Leadership.” Participants explored the quiet heroism of humble service, drawing inspiration from the FMA Constitutions, Articles 52 and 164, which deepened their understanding of an animator’s role in nurturing communion and vibrant community life. In the afternoon, the Provincial staff shared practical insights: Sr. Antony Rayappan Jothy, Province Secretary, emphasized communication and documentation; Sr. Madalaimuthu Angela, Province Economer, highlighted accountability and transparency; and Sr. Sebastian Margaret Mary, Academic Coordinator, focused on quality education and holistic growth.

Sr. Samson Gnana Jennifer, Province Coordinator for Social Media Communication, provided practical guidance on essential apps and the positive use of mobile technology. The session was enriched by Dr. A. Magimai Pragasam, who offered insights on the safe, ethical, and creative use of media, encouraging animators to leverage technology for evangelization, education, and community building in a responsible and impactful manner.
