Spiritual Retreat and Medaling Ceremony
Sacred Heart Home, Katpadi | 21–24 July 2025
A spiritual retreat for the Aspirants and Postulants was held from 21 to 23 July 2025 at Sacred Heart Home, Katpadi, and was preached by Rev. Fr. Periyanayagam Christhuraj, SDB. With deep spiritual insight and pastoral warmth, Fr. Christhuraj guided the young women through days of prayer, reflection, and interior renewal, helping them to attune their hearts more closely to God’s call.
On 24 July 2025, the community joyfully celebrated a significant milestone in the lives of the Postulants—the Medaling Ceremony. Sr. Lazar Bernardine, Vice Provincial, and I had the joy of being present for this meaningful occasion.
Twelve new Postulants received their medals, marking an important step forward on their journey toward consecrated life.
- Five Postulants from the INT Province received their medals from the INT Provincial.
- Seven Postulants from the INM Province received theirs from the INM Provincial.
This sacred moment was a profound expression of the Postulants’ desire to follow Christ more closely in the spirit of Don Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello.
The celebration was further blessed by the initiation of new Aspirants into the Aspirantate. Their joyful entry into this formative stage filled the atmosphere with hope and promise.
Let us continue to accompany these young women with our prayers, that—strengthened by the example of our saints and the loving guidance of Mother Mary—they may embrace their formative journey with renewed faith, joy, and wholehearted commitment.
