Spiritual Foundation and Inauguration: On August 25, 2024, the animators’ meeting commenced at Auxilium Provincial House, Tiruchirappalli, with a Holy Mass. This spiritual beginning set a strong foundation for the gathering, fostering an atmosphere of reflection and unity among the participants.
Insights from the Provincial: Following the Holy Mass, the Provincial shared her experiences and insights, particularly emphasizing the guidance and instructions received from the Mother General during the New Provincial Course held at Castelgandolfo, Rome.
Her words provided a roadmap for the meeting, highlighting the importance of leadership and spiritual direction in the animators’ roles.
Communication Sessions: The meeting continued with a series of communication sessions led by the Vice Provincial, Province Economer, Province Secretary, and the Social Development Office – ASSIST. Reflection on “CARE: The Ethical Paradigm of the New Civilization”: Another significant segment of the meeting was the discussion of Prof. Bernardo Toro’s article, “CARE: The Ethical Paradigm of the New Civilization.” The article was read and shared in groups, focusing on the essential elements required for developing a new cosmology and culture of care. Evaluation and Triennial Verification: In the afternoon of August 26, participants engaged in an evaluation of the consolidated report of the Triennial Verification questions.
